Thanks for your interest in employment at Bridger Bowl. If you are an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated person who enjoys providing excellent guest service, we encourage you to apply for a position.

Please read the following information, it should help answer most questions about applying for employment at Bridger Bowl.

Applying for Employment

Departments at Bridger Bowl conduct hiring on a varied schedule, typically in October and November. The openings in each department vary from season to season. Bridger Bowl is fortunate to have a large number of returning employees (65% - 70% of the workforce), therefore we may not always have openings in the listed areas. A personal face-to-face interview is normally required of all employment candidates. Since we are primarily a winter operation, many department managers begin work for the winter season in October. Employment inquires received during the summer may not receive responses until the department manager returns to work for the winter season.

Resumes may be attached to the online application, but must be a Microsoft Word Document, PDF or Text file.

International Applicants

Bridger Bowl does not sponsor international workers under H2B or J-1 Visa.

Bridger Bowl’s Operating Season

Scheduled dates of operation for the 2015-2016 Ski Season are: December 11th, 2015 through April 3rd, 2016. If conditions permit, the area may open weekends only beginning Thanksgiving weekend and/or extend beyond the April closing date.

Bridger Bowl is primarily a winter operation and is snow dependent. Montana usually enjoys excellent snow conditions, but sometimes it comes late. If we experience low or delayed snowfall, we may not be able to open all or part of the ski area as scheduled. In that event, work may not be available until there is adequate snow to operate.

Summer employment at Bridger Bowl is limited to a small workforce in Mountain Operations and Food Service. Many of the positions in Mountain Operations are held by long term employees and openings are rare. Food Service summer operations are from late June through August. These positions are typically filled by employees from the previous winter.

Employee Housing

There is no employee housing available at the mountain. Most employees live in the nearby towns of Bozeman (16 miles) , Belgrade (26 miles) and Livingston (28 miles). Apartment rents average from $750 - $1000 for two bedroom units. Lower priced units are difficult to find. For more information on rentals check the Bozeman Daily Chronicle classifieds at

An employee shuttle bus will be available, seven days a week. The bus will pick up at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds at 7:25 a.m. and return to the fairgrounds at 5:15 p.m. daily.
