Students

Please read the following information before beginning the registration process. Still have questions? See answers to some frequently asked questions below.

Helpful Tips

  • This year Ski PE costs $45/ child/ day. If a child is unable to attend due to these costs, please contact the school's coordinator for accommodation before registering. A discount code will be provided if the school is covering the cost of the trip.
  • There will be NO REFUNDS after payment is complete.
  • Photos are mandatory this year to load the lifts. Make sure to add a photo to the participating child's account before arrival on their first ski day. The parent/ guardian can change/ add these photos in the parent/ guardian's Bridger Bowl account settings.
  • If there are questions or issues registering a child please reach out to the school's coordinator first. If still having issues, call the Snowsports office at (406) 556-5662.
  • If you think your child may be eligible for Eagle Mount do not sign up through Bridger Bowl. Eagle Mount provides adaptive lessons for those who qualify for their services (individuals with physical, developmental, sensory, and/or cognitive disabilities and young people with cancer). Eligibility criteria is available here. Lessons will be individualized, and time slots will correspond with their assigned Ski PE time. During Checkout

  • In the first stage of the registration process, select either 1 or 2 Lessons in the dropdown. No student will be coming up more than twice.
  • If the registering child needs rentals, select the checkbox before selecting Add to Cart.
  • After adding to cart, select the date and school of the registering child's trip in the calendar pop up. Make sure to select the ski or snowboarding option.
  • If a school has provided a discount code, enter it while in the cart review step. Best practice is to copy and paste the code as they are case sensitive and must match exactly.
  • The parent/ guardian account must be the one to log in when prompted during the checkout process. If the parent/ guardian does not yet have an account, one must be created before the child's account.

After Checkout

  • Forward your email receipt, including the attached pdf receipt, to your school's Ski PE Coordinator.

Chaperones

Please read the Chaperone Responsibilities below before beginning the registration process. Chaperones who are season passholders do not need to purchase a ticket.

Chaperone Responsibilities

  • Chaperones will be assigned to a small lesson group by a Bridger Bowl Ski PE On-Snow Coordinator.
  • Helping to manage groups by encouraging participants to be respectful and listen to instructions quietly.
  • Escorting and waiting with students at the lesson meeting area at 10:15am.
  • Chaperons are required to ski with lesson groups and assist the groups instructor. Duties while in a lesson include:
    • - Assisting the instructor with group management.
    • - Assisting with chair loading, riding and unloading.
    • - Ensuring all students follow instructions and directions as given by the instructor, supporting disciplinary actions if needed.
    • - Escorting students who need to separate from the group if necessary for things such as bathroom breaks or gear adjustments.
    • - Acting as a lead or sweep skier/ rider for the group. Assisting students on hill with falls and gear.
    • - Helping to facilitate group safety during the lesson and abiding by the skier/ rider responsibility code.
  • Assist students with returning rental equipment at the end of the day.
  • Assist the trip coordinator in accounting for all students before leaving.

If a ticket is necessary:

  • Have discount code sent by the school ready. This code is case sensitive, it is recommended to copy and paste it. Do not check out if cart shows full price, this means the discount code did not apply.
  • Choose the specific date for the school's Ski PE trip.
  • Call the Snowsports Office at (406) 556-5662 with issues checking out or using code.
  • If having trouble with the online process go to the Snowsports office the morning of the Ski PE trip to receive help.
  • There will be NO REFUNDS after payment is complete.

Chaperones may not consume alcohol at Bridger Bowl while performing duties and/ or traveling with a school group. Chaperone's children are not eligible to attend a lesson if they are not associated with the day's Ski PE school/ grade.

What if my child has special needs?

What if my family can't afford the $45 Ski PE registration fee?

This year's $45/ student/ day pricing covers the cost of the lesson, rentals, lift access and Bridger Bowl Card. If your child is not able to attend due to these costs, please contact the school’s coordinator for accommodation, before registering. There will be no refunds after payment.

How do I know when my child's school is coming up to ski?

The date for your child’s’ Ski PE trip should be included in instructions received from the school.

How do I use the Discount Code the school gave me?

Go to the registration link and follow the steps to sign your child, once you reach the cart, sign into your account. Add the discount code to the PROMO CODE box, the cart total should then be $0.

What should I do if I forgot to add Rentals or Bridger Bowl Cards during checkout?

Email the school's coordinator with what what you need added to the registration. If you need rentals added, they will need to know your child’s height, weight, shoe size and skier type/ snowboard stance.

What should I do if I've added lessons to my cart but the website shows my cart as empty?

Try clearing the cache on your web browser. You can also try to register in “incognito mode” or in a new browser.

Why does the website say that I am not old enough to purchase a lesson at checkout?

You are logged in under your child’s account. Log in or Sign up in the top right corner under the parent/ guardian account. If signed into the parent/ guardian account and still unable to checkout, call Bridger Bowl at 406-556-5662 for help.

How do I register my child if I don't have a Bridger Bowl account?

A parent/ guardian Bridger Bowl account is required for registration and must be created before the child's. An account can be created at bridgerbowl.com/account. After creating an account for yourself and logging in begin the registration process. Your child's account can be created during the registration process when asked to Assign Guest. See the option to Create a New Guest after selecting the Assign Guest button.

How do I create my child's account?

The best time is during the registration process when asked to Assign Guest to the Ski PE product. After selecting Assign Guest there are three options given:

  • Choose a Linked Guest will let you assign accounts that have already been created and are linked to yours.
  • Can't find that guest you're looking for? allows you to search for a guest based off of the customer code located on the individual's Bridger Bowl Card. This is the best option if your child already has an account but cannot be found under your linked guests.
  • Create a new guest will let you create an entirely new account for your child if needed.

How do I upload a photo to my child's account?

Log into your parent/ guardian account settings page here, your child's photo can be changed at the bottom of the Profile Settings page under Linked Guests.

How do I know my child's ability level?

 The Beginner ability level starts with those who have never slid on snow, to those who are sliding but are unable to to come to a stop on their own or change direction (turn) and maneuver around objects downhill from them. They are currently skiing/ riding the easiest of green circle trails.

 The Intermediate ability level spans from: beginner intermediates able to navigate themselves down Virginia City's easier green circle terrain and avoid objects downhill by changing directions to: advanced intermediates able to start exploring ungroomed terrain (blue squares and easy black diamonds.)

  The Advanced ability level begins with those who are skiing/ riding black diamond groomed and ungroomed terrain and continues to those who those who are skiing/ riding the entire mountain in all conditions.
